New and Different Business Ideas

Anyone for suggestions on some new and refreshing ideas. Im always thinking of something different to offer as a craft item. What do you think? I would love to hear from all of you.
Think of items that no-one else has- as I was scavenger hunting this weekend(didnt find the 5 or 8) I was browsing all the websites and did not find any aprons- so I made three this weekend. I do have one posted at craft booth 143. I have made these before, just never thought of selling them. I gave some away at christmas time. Baking, cookiing and gingerbread men-mmmmm goood.

I believe everyone has a very nice selection of variety and Im all about variety: towels, shirts, wallhangings, tablerunners,blankets, baby stuff. I just want to find my niche, have you found yours? If so please share with us.

Yes, I have found my niche! Several years ago my kitty was sleeping in an empty box, and being a quilter, I decided she needed a little quilt. I happened to have fabric that was supposed to be a pillow, and it had a picture on it of a kitty curled up sleeping. So, I made her a little quilt. She slept on it exclusively for two days!!! She still likes it and just knows it's hers. So, I made up others and they sold, and The Contented Kitty business was born! Dog lovers requested quilts for their dogs, so I started making Canine Cuddlers for them! My newest line is wheelchair quilts, to keep from getting too cold or too hot from sitting on the vinyl seat of the wheelchair.

I just love to quilt!!!

I hear ya about finding your niche', but I also can relate to your comment about variety. You can often have what would be your "Niche" or something exculsively known to your business. But I think the more variety you offer people the better it is. I too am about variety...

you gals are great. I love your comments and the content kitty, that is great. I have a new puppy and we thought about the pillows. She loves her pillows and knows where to go when we tell her, it is like a childs blanket.
