Enfolded in the presence of God, my loved ones and I are safe and secure.
I pause for a quiet time of communion with God. In this peaceful interlude, I rest in the stillness of God’s presence with the assurance that I am cared for in every way.
If at any time of the day or night I feel less than secure, I know it is time to reestablish my awareness of God’s presence. Pausing for a deep breath, I relax. The Holy Presence within strengthens my resolve so that I meet any experience with faith and confidence.
Just as I live and move in this sacred presence, so, too, do my family and friends— whether we are in our homes, on vacation, in unfamiliar surroundings. Enfolded in the presence of God, my loved ones and I are safe and secure.
“You who live in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’”—Psalm 91:1-2
