in your prayers, please? Last Sunday night, Michael went into a diabetic coma. I had to call 911 and have him taken to the hospital because he was out cold on the floor. It was also the night we had another foot of snow, so thankfully Mike's son came to help me out and get me to the hospital. They stabilized him, but kept him in for 3 days. Now, he is home, and is very weak and tired all the time.

We went to see his own Dr. today. He is still dehydrated and a little wozzy when he stands up from a sitting position. His blood pressure was too low, Id never heard of that one before. So, the Doc made some adjustments on his meds and wants him to rest and we go back next week for another follow-up. He has lost 14 pounds in two weeks. (most of it was water loss) So, he needs to drink alot of fluids, and keep checking his diabetic levels very often during the day, and take his insulin according to the reading. Now, we also have to check his blood pressure several times a day as well.

Im telling you, gals, Im in such a state. I need your help with your prayers for my Michael. He is so sick. Im so afraid of losing him, Im beside myself.
Sorry this is so lengthly, but I really needed to vent this, and I do feel better, because I know you will all send up a prayer for him. (and me, too)

Nancy, I'm so sorry to here all this about Micheal. Gosh, that must have been so scary for you all, and he's still so weak too. I'll keep you all in my prayers. Please take care of yourself too. I know your what your going through with the worry and trying to take care of Micheal. I've been going through the same thing with Kevin. I couple of days ago I thought I was going to have a break down from worrying! Our men our are rocks we lean on and when their weak it throws us for a loop! I know how much you care for him by the way you talk about him in your posts. Just keep on praying (and we ill too) and draw close to the Lord's strength. Let Him take control, because really all of this is out of our hands. We love you sweetie! Please keep us posted.

Thank you all for your kind words and your much need prayers. He is doing just slightly better, very weak and sleeps alot. We have an appt. on Thursday, and Im just hoping they won't put him back in the hospital. But, if they must, they must. I want him to get well, and it's just not happening.
