Invasion of the Honey Balls

Ok..I know..you're probably thinking..what in the world!!! LOL - but I just had to take a break...hubby and I have been baking since the weekend..and last night we finished deep frying the stroufoli (honey balls) and today I was coating them with honey and nonparrells. We 4X's the recipe - because so many people request them..well - I've been dipping for hours..and feel like I've not even dented the pile...anywhoooo...

Looking forward to our churchs' community group Christmas gathering tonight.

4x's!!! Wow!!!! Sounds yummy and a bit sticky and like a labor of love to be sure. I make 9 dozen frosted cookies this year and that's as far as I got. Hubby's fav so he was happy. :)

Because I had my family Christmas this past week/end, all my baking etc. was done last week. I made tons of cookies (I really didn't count) candy,
and fruit breads (not fruit cake!!) hehe
Not to mention dinner and pies!!

So, this week Im kind of relaxing...it feels good...except when it comes to Christmas eve, we always used to go to my mom's, but she is gone now, so we just stay home.
